A not for gain and community based organization, dogwood Community Aged Protection Services is committed to providing a safe, happy and cozy home for its residents. In 2004, dogwood added to its services with an excess 16 beds to produce the community with a 30bed, memory support (dementia specific) unit. Today, dogwood continues to urge its residents, whose needs vary from low care to packed memory encourage (dementia) services, by providing them with a hot and caring place to call home.

This 30bed facility offers residents the opportunity to live in their own private room with en suite, all with the comfort of roundtheclock registered nurse support. A large shared dining room encourages socializing with residents and visitors equivalent with three balanced meals provided each day, while a conveniently located kitchenette means residents can make a cuppa and snack whenever they fancy. A thoughtfully rehearsed activity program runs seven days a week, offering both day and evening activities, to stir the heed and body and the leafy front and back gardens allow residents to appreciate the new air. Located alongside Diana Street Lodge are six snug Autonomous Living Units (ilks) that present residents the superior of both worlds the freedom of living alone with the convenience of dogwood’s extensive services. With two spacious bedrooms (that’s enough room for guests to stay) and one bathroom, residents can appreciate the equivalent humane of independence before they made the move to dogwood. dogwood is very fortunate to have a loyal band of volunteers who willingly present their time to encourage our staff and residents.
